The Problem

If you're running pickleball with five different tools, you're losing money you don't see.

Most facilities patch together five to seven different products — Google Sheets for schedules, Eventbrite for tournaments, Square for the front desk, Mailchimp for players, paper waivers in a binder. Things break. Players double-book. Revenue leaks. Staff burns out doing data entry.

Friction · 1

The spreadsheet of doom court schedule

Updated by hand, never quite right, instantly out of date the moment two players show up unannounced. Conflicts get caught at the front desk, never beforehand.

Friction · 2

Tournament day chaos

Brackets printed at midnight. Score sheets lost on a clipboard. Late-arriving players panic the entire schedule. Every event is a fresh emergency.

Friction · 3

Payments scattered across five systems

Court rentals on Square, league dues on Venmo, tournament fees on a Stripe link, merch on Shopify. Reconciling at month-end takes a full Saturday.

Friction · 4

The waiver binder

Every new player signs paper. Half the binder is illegible. Lawsuit happens — you can't find the waiver. Welcome to liability hell.

Built for

Three kinds of operators. One toolset.

PaddleOps is opinionated about who it's for. We built specifically for these workflows — not a generic "club management" template stretched to fit pickleball.

Tier 01

Facility owners

You run courts. People rent them. Members pay dues. Staff comes and goes. PaddleOps unifies the operational layer so your weekend isn't a spreadsheet.

  • Court scheduling & bookings
  • Front desk & POS
  • Member & payroll management
  • Revenue analytics by court
Tier 02

Club & league managers

You don't own courts but you organize people who play. Leagues, ladders, social events, dues. PaddleOps handles the membership engine that makes it work.

  • Member rosters & communication
  • League scheduling & standings
  • Dues collection & renewals
  • Event registration & waitlists
Tier 03

Tournament directors

You run events. Sometimes one a year. Sometimes one a month. Brackets, registrations, refs, sponsors, prizes. PaddleOps runs the show, you run the tournament.

  • Bracket generation & seeding
  • Online registration & payments
  • Live scoring & standings
  • Sponsor & ref management
How we compare

Honest about what we are. And what we're not.

We're not the only option. Here's how PaddleOps stacks up against the products you've probably already heard of — laid out so you can decide for yourself.

An honest note: Court Reserve is a great booking system. Playtomic does player discovery well. If you only need one of those things, they may be cheaper for you. PaddleOps wins when you need booking + tournaments + leagues + ops in one tool — most facilities do, but not all. Pick what fits.

Questions

Things facility owners actually ask.

Yes. We do migrations as part of onboarding for Facility tier customers — typically a 2-hour session where we import your member list, court schedule, and historical data. For Club tier, we provide CSV templates and a guided self-import. Most migrations take less than a day.

PaddleOps integrates with Stripe out of the box — most facilities already use Stripe or are happy to switch. If you're locked into another processor (Square, PayPal), we can connect via webhooks for an additional setup fee. Your existing payment links continue to work.

Honestly? Court Reserve is excellent at court booking but light on tournament/league features. Playtomic is great for player discovery but designed for European-style facilities. PaddleOps is built specifically for North American operators who need court ops, leagues, AND tournaments in one tool. We're more focused, so we cost less and integrate tighter.

No. PaddleOps is web-based. Players book courts, register for tournaments, and check live scores through any browser on any device. Mobile-optimized but not a native app — which means zero install friction for your members.

You own your data. Export everything anytime as CSV or JSON — members, schedules, financial records, the whole lot. If you cancel, we keep your data accessible for 90 days, then permanently delete on request. No lock-in, no held-hostage data.

Yes. 14 days, no credit card required. We'll set up a demo facility with sample data so you can click around before you import your own. If you need more time to decide, we'll extend it — just ask.

Yes. Click "Try the live demo" at the top of this page — you'll be in a fully functional demo environment with realistic sample data. Or book a demo with us and we'll walk you through it on a 30-minute call.

Hosted on enterprise-grade infrastructure. All data encrypted in transit and at rest. SOC 2 audit in progress. We don't sell, share, or analyze your member data for any third-party purpose — your data is yours.
